DUNGAREES: GET DOWN & QUIRKY

Want something très easy, trècool and très now? I suggest you get at least two pairs - let's quickly see how to wear them.

One tailored (a must), one relaxed or structured - that's two. If you want to add some extra fun for endless summer days, don't forget the short ones, again, in denim or prints.

And the best ways to work them now? The coloured inspiration board below should give you an idea - wear smart black dungarees with monochrome stripes, spots, checks, on smart shirts, simple tees, vests or crop tops. Dungarees with loud prints work best with white shirts or tees and, as is the case with just about everything, strrrripes. I like pointed heels or booties with my smart black pair, but platforms look nicely retro, while barely there heels might be an option too.

Short dungarees can be a tad less versatile, but as they scream holidays, I'm longing for one in my wardrobe.  On the plus size, when it is time to actually wear them, you can really let go, and get down & quirky with your shoes, whether flatform pumps, creepers, brogues, boots, wellies, flat sandals, platform sandals, gladiators and who knows what else, socks or no socks.

One more thing. This trend is indeed something very now and can be made to look quite edgy in a true man-repeller fashion, but that doesn't mean guys won't love it on you - just the opposite. Trust me.
