GLAM SLAM: THE OCTOBER DIARIES

It's fashion season, and in full swing too - need I say more? The weather's bearable, sometimes distinctly warm, which makes it easy to dare the city and actually show up at a few selected events (Fashion Days, Fashion Week, press events, hence the clear overstatement glam slam). Click the cover for a month's worth of outfit inspiration.

Tartan joins monochrome and check as the number one must have, smart sweaters layered with statement shirt collars help us ease into all things warm, while a dash of vintage guarantees we don't look too boyish even though the temptation is great.

THE DARK ARTS

Events for the fashion crowd are glam but more pared-back than the peacock-ridden spectacle of the main cities - the great eds-in-chief would be proud. I wore a lot of black but enjoyed strutting my fave recent trends like scuba, a full skirted dress, quilted leather, heeled biker boots, white collars, and a flash of colour or sparkle here and there.

PRINTS AU NATUREL
