Cold to hot was pretty much in evidence with cool days, storms and finally, high summer, which we handled with pastels, denim, crazy prints and plenty of layering.
While I'm the monochrome-for-ever type, I'm happy to add powder blue and shell pink to my wardrobe every once in a while - still, it looks like most of May was not your usual hot spring month. It's crazy how much we had to wear ankle boots or sturdy all-weather skaters. Maybe it's just me but I love covering up when rain is on the cards, thus often end up boiling in skinny jeans and closed shoes. Anyway, high summer did arrive by the end of the month so out came the new leather sliders, the minimal smart sandals and last year's all-too-comfy patent t-bars (I could walk ten miles in them like it's nothing). And, besides playing around with fun prints, I got to wear the white biker jacket I had lusted for - scroll through for the - mostly casual - outfit diary.
