January is the year's Sleepy Hollow, just less thrilling - here you'll find all survival outfits you need. 2015 got off to a painfully slow start, but even though that did not last, it made January one of the most typical ever - that is, too little to spend in the sales, and too much in the way of darkness and slushy city streets. The result is quite obvious, style-wise. Here's to unusual amounts of dark and cozy looks in which wellington boots and acid wash skinnies reigned supreme, in a follow-up to last month's Keep Calm & Buy Wellies. As something of a shocker, as many as nine of the nineteen looks for January feature my three pairs of wellies, the navy short back adjustables and the tall glossy Regents by Hunter, and the smart black chelsea style by JuJu x Topshop. Where I didn't exactly get cozy I seemed to have gone for clean and smart boyish looks, but managed to conclude January affairs in an outfit just about worthy of spring, with a touch of stripes and khaki. January is meant to be spent lazing on the couch or jetting off to somewhere warm for a different kind of reboot. Whether you do either or both, relax, the new days are not that far off. Until next time, find my live feeds on Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter, and selected looks on Lookbook.
